President Quinn’s Weekly Message

Sister Quinn and I enjoyed being with you last week in zone conferences. We are inspired by the dedication, kindness, and love you demonstrate in your service to one another – and more importantly the Lord.
Our zone conference message was focused on serving as the Savior did, with high love and high expectations. We shared examples from the scriptures of the high love and high expectations He exemplified and taught. We discussed our CASRM mission culture. We taught that each of us contributes to our mission culture through our individual acts of high love and high obedience. This is the culture the Savior desires for us to serve in. Thank you for accepting the invitation to identify and act in ways that will add to our culture of high love and high expectations in CASRM.
Next week we will have the privilege of participating in a mission tour with Elder William Jackson, a General Authority Seventy, and his wife Ann. They will instruct and train us during their three-day visit to the mission. I am excited to be taught by Elder and Sister Jackson. I am also excited to be together again, especially on Thursday when the entire mission will gather. This is a unique opportunity for our mission. Sister Quinn, our senior couples, and missionary leaders are working hard to make this a memorable experience for all of us. I am grateful for their preparation. It’s going to be awesome!
The prophet Samuel invited his people to “prepare your hearts unto the Lord” (1 Samuel 7:3). I extend the same invitation to you. Please take time this week to prepare yourselves spiritually to receive inspiration from a servant of the Lord who has come by special assignment to be with us. I know that as you prepare yourself spiritually, you will receive inspired messages specific to your missionary service and life. I am grateful for the goodness and love of the Lord providing us this instruction.
